The Aesthetic Condition

Angels of War

Angels of War was the second album from the Aesthetic Condition. In addition to the previous lineup, Alisa Rose played violin. An instrumental progressive rock concept album, replete with wild time signatures, orchestral journeys and masterful playing. Truly the precursor to ScienceNV, who played the opening track live and then recorded it for their first album; check it out here. Many thanks to Steve Glaze of Tone Freq Studio who mastered all of the albums and played with the group in its first performance (see below).

deceit and rapture

In the first incarnation of the Aesthetic Condition, Larry Jay Davis played guitars, Rich Kallet was on drums and percussion, and David is singing and playing keyboards.  Joyce Graves contributed vocals.

The Fates

In 2002, David wrote a lengthy instrumental piece that was performed at City College of San Francisco. Larry played guitar, Rich was on drums, David hauled in his keyboards and Steve Glaze played bass. The first three tracks are The Fates, and the fourth is from a jam that happened spontaneously at one of the rehearsals.
