Joyce Graves often previewed the videos during their construction, influencing projects in their early stages. She was the only artist who contributed both audio and visual elements to the Invisible Cites: she played Jay Kreimer’s invented instruments on Isidora, Penthesilia and Theodora and was the photographer/videographer for Argia, Eusapia, Irene, and Laudomia.
